About the farm
Oscar and Francisca Chaćon are third generation coffee farmers who define ingenuity and resilience. In 2005, they built their own micromill to process coffee instead of selling it at market rate locally. Their signature process is called 'Black Honey'. This involves removing the coffees' skin after picking, but leaving 100% of the pulp intact. this allows for controlled fermentation and drying and the development of rich, vibrant fruit notes.
