Grown in the village of Edido, Aricha sits in a microregion known for producing coffees with vibrant complexity and tropical brightness.

Since purchasing the farm in 2006 Raul has worked tirelessly to plant over 60,000 coffee trees turning Buenavista into a thriving family business Meanwhile, Astrid has gained international prominence by winning the Colombian Cup of Excellence award.

In the shadow of Colombia’s Nevado del Ruiz volcano, brothers Elias and Shady Bayter have built a remarkable coffee legacy at El Vergel Farm. What began in 1995 as their father’s avocado farm in Fresno, Tolima eventually passed into their hands and gave them the chance to reimagine the land’s potential. By 2016 the brothers committed fully to coffee, transforming their 300-hectare estate and planting varieties that thrive in the region’s nutrient-rich volcanic soil.
